You could embroider it, or sew a patch of cool matchingish fabric on it. I'm really lame a backback decorating, I just find dumb little keychains, or tie sequin strands onto the straps. Good luck tho...

This is just to say that i totally think School back packs are *NOT* for girls, with the exception of lil cutie kiddie backpacks (ie:barbie, ppg, lion king, etc)

Huh? Why are school back packs not for girls? Unless you think they're bad because they'll damage your back if you put too much stuff in them, I've gotta argue with you. I love my backpack, and it doesn't have Barbie or the Lion King on it!

yeah, backpacks are very handy. expecially for carrying all of your projects around. you can buy cute little patches and sew them on. or sew buttons all over it. or beads. or if its canvas, you can just make a painting on it! im getting so excited just thinking about it.

at least school backpacks are not for girls with boobs-- they are so hard to wear if you've got boobs.

Ladies *i* think backpacks arent for girls because most of us are pack rats and need to carry EVERYTHING with us and when youve got schookbooksmakeupspareunderwearcdsandcdplayergymclothescarsondalyandrusselcroweshrines when you finally get around to puttin it on you look like the hunchback of johnson high/university. and if you've go big boobs(like me)they really are hard to wear. But now i feel so bad cuz yall dont like my opinion. im not saying that backpacks on girls are wrong *I* just would prefer a nice lether messenger bag from the gap or a nice trendy tote.

what was that person talking about i didn't get it. backpacks not for girls??? um ok. anyways on my backpack there is this mesh pocket thing so i took embroidery floss in many different colors and wove it in and out of the mesh thing in a circle and then i embroidered a pink star over it. My backpack is so easy to find when it is in a large heap at my school. Plus, my school made this dumb rule that you can't have pictures on your backcpacks but since i made my backpack before that rule and protested if they want me to get a new backpack then they should buy me one, so i got to keep my backpack. I love backpacks expect when they are filled with 39045872098475097 pounds of books.

hey i went to ben franklins (spelling?) and bought a bunch of studs. they were the plain circular ones and some really cute star outlines type ones and i just alternated them across the the top of the little pocket. i have one of thoses plain and simple jansports and i luv to decorate it also i covered that pocket with the star studs and saftey pins ...it made it look like the stars were falling stars... anyways im new to this place and i love it! email me and let me know about any great DIY stuff to make okie? When I was in high school I used those silver and gold paint markers and had friends write stuff all over my bag. Little sayings personal to them and stuff we all liked. I still have that bag to this day. (only 8 years later but still)
