Has anyone done or does anyone have advice/suggestions for decoupaging on semi-flexible surfaces? I have some old luggage I use to store fabric and other crafting supplies in. I'd like to decoupage the sides to snazz them up a bit and maybe get them to look coordinated (they are totally diff colors right now). They are the vinyl 1970's type with a fakey leather texture (more matte than shiny finish). The frame is solid but that vinyl stuff is a little flexible - not the hard plastic type at all. I'm concerned that the decoupage will looke fine until the surface flexes from opening the cases or stuffing supplies in them and then will it all crackle or...? Thoughts, ladies? | |
