So as I'm walking by the salon, I see that new Clairol Special FX and I checked for you ladies that it's semi-permanent. it is exactly the same as any other manic panic, punky color type dye. That being the case, how lame does that make Clairol?!? not only is the box art really cheesy and the measly four colors pretty mediocre, but Clairol is actually attempting to rip off the name of a well known and respcted dye (Or at the very least to capitalize on the type of confusion already displayed in this post)! Bad, Bad Clairol!
In other news...as I was flipping through a magazine i noticed there is a brand new permanent red dye called "redlights" by Matrix. And this is no natural red either, it's fire engine red! I certainly hope this is the first wave of a bright color permanent hair dye trend!
