i want to make some change purses, the old metal snap closed kind, remember those? i'm looking for the metal snap part and maybe a pattern for the fabric part, although i guess i could just wing it.

any ideas?

I've seen the metal clasp part (strangely enough) at my local bead store. I wonder if Michael's might have them...

If you locate an easy pattern (or come up with one yourself) I'd be interested to know how to make these. I'd like to make a corduroy one!

we have some at the bead shop; they are for making beaded purses but seems like they could also be sewn to fabric.
