Does anyone know where I can get a good pattern for making boxers? I'm pretty much cash-less for Xmas and have more guy friends than girlfriends, so I wanted to try my hand at making boxers. I have some really funky fabric, with pictures of fruit all over it. It's sweet.

I have made boxers using a new Kwik-Sew pattern, I'm not sure what the # is though. Most big fabric stores seem to carry them. There were 2 variations, a funny tiny early-'80s running shorts one and a more normal one that looks exactly like the ones you buy in department stores and 3-packs (I made this one for my boyfriend). Each pair took about a yard of fabric and a yard of 1 and a quarter inch-wide elastic, and it was pretty easy--it only took an hour or so start to finish. If you use this pattern, the one thing is that they ran a little small. You might want to adjust the size a bit...
They make great presents!

ps. if you need the pattern #, I can find it & e-mail it to you after I get home.

That'd be great. Hopefully I'll be able to find it.

Sorry! it took me a bit longer than I thought to find it. The pattern is Kwik-Sew 1672. You can't miss the two hunks on the front.

It's a S-M-L-XL pattern, which is handy. Good luck! Now that I dug out the pattern, I think I'll make a few pairs for gifts too.
