Okay, I would like to know how much stuff everyone's giving to their s.s. I don't want to give too much, or too little.. so, what's a good medium..I know it sounds a little weird, but I don't want to get caught in the christmas stress...
Thanks,
Shannyn
*any ideas for gifts would help too*

Last year I was strapped for time (as in, oops, the party's in 15 minutes) so I just bought the girl a stuffed Rudolph...but! On the more fun side, what about:
A fun little tin of homebaked yummies
A blank spiral-bound notebook with a decorated cover and a nifty pen
A memory-wire-and-beads necklace and bracelet
A packet of homemade hot cocoa mix and a decorated mug

I don't know how well you know the person, if at all, so those are kind of generic gifts. But all fun to get. :)

Shannyn - I'm giving a couple small things. (That way I figure if they really hate one part of the gift, maybe they'll like something else....)

i'm doing secret santa with work and my girlfriends this year; for the work girl, i made her a fleece pocket scarf (pretty easy as long as you don't decide to make your own wool fringe like i did......lol took SO long!!). i think i might put like bath bombs or an eye mask in the pockets too. for my friend, i was thinking marble magnets of her fav. tv. show (buffy) and maybe something baked? and also possibly some bath stuff (i plan on making a big load of the stuff for random people...). but other suggestions:
themed baskets
brownies in a jar (dry mix, i did that for my secret santa last year)
knitted scarf?
decorated frames (always last minute easy, and personal)
a little denim, cord, whatever...purse. purses are great
and if all else fails, PODGE SOMETHING, ANYTHING! lol (snapple bottles are always good, so are notebooks)
