so i scavenged past threads hoping to find an answer and maybe i missed something...

what do you lovely ladies use for containers when you make your lip balm? everything i come across is just too big.

on a happy note... i just bought a "deluxe" tackle box at wal-mart; perfect for reorganizing my supplies!

man, i just ordered from stuffjulielikes, and one of the things i ordered was a 3-piece lip balm pot (ie 3 pots that connect together), and they only sent one piece! And they haven't replied to my email yet!!! (which reminds me, i need to email again...)

we determined don't buy from Binz, b/c they can't bother to reply to inquiry emails from glitter girls. baaaad sign.

i ordered from them last year and they were awesome. they had a couple issues with me (i forgot to *activate* my credit card, i'd never had one before and didn't know) and after i did get my stuff i found they accidentally overcharged me on shipping.

BUT BUT BUT - they called right away to clear things up and were very pleasant and helpful and understanding. in fact, the called after i placed my order to tell me that my shipping cost was more than my whole order cost and they wanted to see if i wanted cheaper shipping (since the cheaper took the same amount of time to reach me). i told them yes, but a computer error still charged me the orginial amount, but they totally corrected it.

so yeah, good prices, friendly people, fast shipping, it's all good. =)

i ordered from http://www.stuffjulielikes.com and was happy with it, so would recommend them. mystic mountain sage (http://www.thesage.com)is also pretty good too.>http://www.cranberrylane.com is OK. they're in Canada, so you kind of get a good deal in the exchange rate, but i think the above links have better prices!

hi, smachel - are you a rachel? because i'm a rachel, and my mom calls me "blachel"

By smachel On 11/29/01

yep, i'm a rachel! when i was in a summer program in high school, my friends and i exchanged "sm" for the first sound in our names. so rachel became smachel. joe is smoe. and so on and so on

were plastic film canisters mentioned in the past threads? i used those a few years ago. my boyfriend and i went around to all the film developing places in town and asked to take their discarded canisters. we got tons. i still like to collect them to store other crafty stuff. we washed them all out with hot, soapy water, and they worked fine.

the only problem is, my amateur photog uncle said the chemicals in unprocessed film are dangerous, and the canisters themselves are non-food grade. but then again, my professional photog boyfriend said they were fine. so who are you going to believe? so far, none of the people i gave the lip balm to as gifts havent come up with horrible lip ailments, thank goodness.

it was posted the the "theyre unsafe for food" was yet another internet hoax. [or even older hoax.]
