Topic Fabric mod podge! Go to previous topic Go to next topic Go to higher level

I'm having a hard time saying "mod podge", I keep wanting to call the stuff "modge podge". Frustrating. Anyway, I have another craft-y question (I'm easily distracted, working on too many projects at once).

Has anyone had any experience with fabric mod podge? Does it to exactly what I hope it does -- seals paper (or other material) designs & make them washing-machine safe? Maybe it's nothing new, but I was so excited when I found it today! :) I've been wanting to find an inexpensive, quick, and easy way print images on black shirts for a while, and for some reason opaque printer transfers are nowhere to be found around here (and I'm not really up for ordering them at the moment). Does it work well as a general sealant, for acrylic paints and such too?

i have no idea if the stuff you have works, but i have tried the opaque image transfer gunk, and it seems to work pretty well.
sorry i can't be of much help.
