Are there instructional manuals on this?

Better Homes and Gardens had a nice tutorial, and there's tons of books out there.

The title made me think that if I were to go on MADE, I would want to be made crafty, my makeover would have include cute glasses and cardigans and my challenge would be a quilting bee.

The stitch & bitch book is really good.

Knitting Pretty and Stitch N Bitch are both excellent! And since Vogue Knitting magazine is so awesome I'm sure Vogue Knitting (the book) would be another excellent resource.

Have fun! :)

I third the stitch and bitch! Even though I'm a pretty good knitter the instructions made things really clear which I could've used when I was learning to knit (like cute illustrations on the way a stitch should sit on your needle)
