Okay, for as long as I've tie dyed, I still cannot get it right. Now, I'm no professional, meaning I use RIT dye on the stove top - nothing fancy.

But here is my problem. After the dying is done, what is the best method of allowing it to set? In the past, I've let them air dry, then I throw them in the dryer to heat set, and then I wash them in cold water. The colors still bleed, even when I do each piece individually.

Please help me!

I also remember something about putting salt in the dye, although I'm not sure if that sets the dye or makes a funky effect...
