I really want to make a cube beanbag out of my old jeans, but have no idea how do go about it. Is it a bad idea?

it sounds like a really good idea! i would say just decide how big you want it. then cut out a template kinda like a broken down box. then, piece together your jeans on that template. you could fill it with peanuts from mailboxes etc, or whatever your local place like that is (i saw that on trading spaces).

A friend of mine who subscribes to the Rowan knitting books gave me a free pattern she got from them recently (free to subscribers anyway). It's for an old-jeans beanbag, which includes pieces that are knitted too. There used to be a picture of it on the Rowan site but it's gone now.

Anyway if you think you might want to see it, I'd be happy to mail you mine because I don't think I will ever make it.
