I have used the cp for years and I disagree. I feel that it makes meat (beef and chicken)and potatoes fork tender but not mushy. Also, anytime I've made one of those dishes with rice and soup the rice turns out fine. (Just spray the pot first.) | |

Do you spray the pot with cooking oil? Does it burn otherwise? | |

I don't usually spray it. The only time I recommend it is when you are putting rice in the cp, sometimes it can stick to the sides. | |

The crockpot is great for cooking beans, just rinse and cover with water and cook all day on low, great for chili. | |
