Okay, so tonight my mom told me she had a date and would be gone. So when I came home, her car was in the driveway, and I assumed he had picked her up. I invited my boyfriend over to hang out, and one thing led to another... Leading to me being, ahem, quite vocal.

This didn't seem to be a big deal, until he was getting ready to leave and I went to make sure the dogs were out of my mom's room so they could go outside and pee, and saw my mom was asleep in her bed. The door was closed, but we were quite loud.

I'm deathly afraid she might have heard something. I am on the Pill and she knows I'm sexually active, but her knowing we do and her hearing us do it are totally different. Should I be mature and apologize about keeping her up, and possibly alert her in case she didn't hear, or just ignore it and pretend she may or may not have heard us?

I'd go for the ignore it and pretend it didn't happen theory.
If she mentions anything about it, then apologize for your noise, and end it there.
She could have slept thru it..I know tons of people who wouldn't wake up if they had a full ensemble marching band parading thru thier rooms at night...hopefully she is one of those.

I would ignore it too, unless she brings it up. Then I'd just apologize and change the subject.

I would imagine that she would be just as embaressed as you are and I'd be surprised if she ever mentioned anything. I agree, ignore it and if she does bring it up, apologize, then end of discussion. Whew, how embaressing! :)
