I have a question about these pens. I understand you take out the ink thing before baking but what happens to the plastic pen case that the clay's stuck to? Would it not melt thereby preventing the ink thing to go back inside? I want to make a few. | |

3. Push your "cooled pen" into the "base", so it will fit in after the "base" is "baked." | |

no no trench, you take the ink thing out and toss away the plastic case. just make the clay around the ink cartridge | |
