i saw this website where they made these wallets out of old pages of comic books and it looked really cool! i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make them. i think maybe laminating them and sewing them together might work but i'm not really sure!

You could either use laminate or contact paper to make the sheets, and then follow the duct tape wallet instructions to assemble it, although you'll probably want to use clear tape. Search at google.com for duct tape wallets and you'll find a crapload of instructions.
Post pics if you do it, it sounds really neat!

i've made a bunch of these out of subway maps, pictures from old calendars, etc.

basically, you take your pages and cut them into six rectangles (all a little smaller than the size you want your finished, folded wallet--the tape and folding adds more size in the end). then, use clear packing tape to laminate three of them together, leaving a little space in between each piece. do another three and then attach these to each other at the bottom and sides--this is the basic body of your wallet. you can add pockets and things inside it from there. i like to do a pocket on each side to hold my cards and such, and then a middle pocket with a window for my id (cut a square and then cut the middle out, laminate it all and attach).

hope that make sense.

These are the funnest things to make! I just use duct tape wallet instructions, except with clear tape and sandwiched between the two layers, essentially laminating them. Anyway, everyone complimented me on it.

ive made one out of a safety thing i stole from the airlines. (hah.. wait till they crash an everyone findes their pamphlets missing!!)
anyways, i cut out the pieces, and then laminated them using clear packing tape. and i left a little bit extra over the edges cus i didnt want water getting in there.
then i sewed it all up on a reg. machine
it had an area for money in the back, and 4 slots for cards and an area behind one side of slots for extra junk. it was quite simple
but they turn out uber cute! =D
