I have recently been donating some items for fundrasiers, etc, and would like to be able write them off this next tax season. is there a form through the state, or do you make up your own form to use for your business? also, does anyone else do this? seems like it would be a really good thing, since every little bit counts.

when we did taxes for my shop last year, there was a whole list of expenses that we filled in, donations were included in the list. i think you just need to keep track of your donations, try to get a reciept from whomever your donating to (i know one organization that i donated a painting to sent me a letter that i would use as a reciept) and have all that info when you're doing yr taxes.
