You might try getting some inspiration on sites such as TLC's Trading Spaces, or BBC's Changing Rooms. Also there's another cable station that has a show called Suprise By Design that re-does rooms as well.

Maybe make the bottom bunk a "couch" or a place to sit and do crafty things! What else do you have to set up?

When I had bunkbeds I slept on the top, and then hung sheets around the bottom bunk and put pillows against the wall for a sitting area. I had them up in a corner, so I had a big painting against the foot of the beds. You could put a chair or couch there if you have one...

what's your style like and what kind of things do you own?

I also have a desk, but am willing to part with it, i have a tv which i need access to because i play video games. also i have two book shelves (small) and a makeup table. i have these fairy picture cards i want to hang up, and also some coloring pages (hello kitty, 80s cartoons...)

hmm...I would suggest the previously mentioned top bunk bed/bottom bunk couch idea, maybe you could but one of your bookcases at the foot of your 'beds? It depends on the kind of bunkbeds you have, but in some of them the bunks can be removed, you could always try to take off the bottom bunk and put your makeup table under it (depending on the height of the top bunk and whether or not you *need* to be packing things in to save space) You could always put the TV either on the bottom-bunk-couch (at the head/foot of the bed) or on a table nearbye, so you can sit on your 'couch' and play....as far as wall decorations go, last time I redid my walls, instead of putting the magazine clippings and such back in the random order they had been. I put them on in organizxed rows with small, even spaces between them. I thought it looked cool....good luck~
