Hi everyone! I put this up on The Guide as well, but does anyone here know of any good, cheap buses to Baltimore? I can find them to DC but I need Baltimore. Does anybody know of a good one? Im looking for a 20-40 dollar range.

OK, just off the top of my head (I don't have any more info, sorry) but I had a friend mention once using buses that leave from Chinatown (she went DC-NYC). They are take people who are sightseeing up and back (I think) and you if there's room you can get a cheap ticket. I'll try to get more info.

Probably the cheapest thing to do would be to take a Chinatown bus to DC and then a separate means of transportation to Baltimore. I don't know when your plans are, but if you are going on a weekday and the Chinatown buses run on weekdays (which I'm not sure they do), you could take the MARC from Union Station into Baltimore from DC for about $8.

There's also a bus that goes from the Greenbelt Metro station to BWI. So you come to DC, take the Metro to Greenbelt for about $2, then take the bus to the airport for $2.50 (I don't know if a transfer will work for that bus) and then take the light rail from BWI. This is long and convoluted, but I think it's the only way you'll do it for that cheap.

I've never used a chinatown bus, a google search turned up this site http://www.washny.com/.

I was trying to see if the boston to NY bus also went to dc, I've used travel pack and it's safe, and apparently it's only 10 bucks one way ny to boston...that's less than it used to be so they're quite competitive>http://www.travelpackusa.com/bus-service.htm

When I've been in NYC I've seen buses that go to DC and they meet at the same place as travelpack. I don't know the pricing but if you're in nyc I'd just go down and ask for some flyers and then take a bus from dc to balt.
good luck
