I thought I'd be fun to start a list of craft fairs that happen anually, so that we can all keep track and try to get into more in our areas. I've found it really hard to fid out about craft fairs until its too late to be a vendor, so I starting keeping a list.

I think we (obviously) should stick to big ones, especially alternative sort of ones, on this list, not like your local church craft shows. :)

You can always check out sites like craftlister.com, craftmasternews.com, and showwest.com (but you have to pay to subscribe with that one to get any current info). These don't necessarity list "alternative" fairs but will give you an idea of the larger ones in your area.

You should also check with your local Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Board to find out about big ones booked for your city.

Yeah, I have tried a lot of local routes, but they weren't really much help, which was more than annoying. Even our City Arts was like, hmmm, a list is a good idea, we don't have one!

I am participating in Bazaar Bizarre West in Hollywood, CA on 12/14. They are accepting vendors until 11/15.
