anyone have any ideas for getting into the fall season.. thanksgiving.. the turning of the leaves... how to dress up the house to fit the season?

Autumn leaves are free, and great to decorate with. My kid and I collected some leaves, pressed them in a book for about a week, and then we put them in dollarstore frames with nice coloured paper behind and hung them around the house.

I also have a nice orange and green table runner, and some dried corn cobs and gourds as a centerpiece.

You could also do slipcovers and throw cushions in seasonal colours.
