I saw the cutest bracelet where they used colored lucite discs as charms, I'd love to make them, but can't find a source for the discs anywhere...anyone have any ideas?

Check out the Rods, Tubes, Shapes section of http://www.tapplastics.com -- they may have what you're looking for. Any pictures of the bracelet you want to make?

I'll sell you a bunch of frosted ones for $5

hey ursonate, if she doesn't want to buy those discs, I'd be interested!

I ripped the picture out of a magazine in our staff lounge, but if memory serves, it was in the lastest addition of Working Woman Magazine. It was just a simple link bracelet that had different sizes of plastic/lucite colored discs attached.

Plainmabel, I'll definitely check out that site. I'm looking for colored discs ursonate, but thanks for the offer...Thriftstorediva, they're all yours. Thank you!!

I think the ones at Tap Plastics are just clear, but if they don't have colored ones on the site it might be worth calling them (since they do sell other colored plastic stuff). Maybe also try http://www.mantofev.com and/or http://www.sciplus.com

Well, ThriftstoreDiva, there are 50 of them and they are 1/8" thick and 3/4" in diameter. The hole looks wide enough for a beading needle. Send me an e-mail at mcbride@echonyc.com if you want 'em. Oh yeah, do it fast 'cause I'm moving next week!

bingo chips! they come in huge bags and like 987598797590375907 colors. my aunt has tons of them... (they come either just plastic, or with a magnetic metal trim around the edge for picking up whole piles with a wand magnet, just so you know)
