Do you want to know how to make a sari, as in the sizes and stuff or how to drape a sari? If it's the latter, I'm sure you'll come up with a lot of sites with visuals and if you're still in doubt, just let me know.

If you really want a sari, check to see if there's a sari store where you live. They involve yards of fabric, and it might be cheaper to just order one. A friend of mine went to a store in Takoma Park, MD and bought a sari, and the under garmets, for around $30 - it was a pretty copper brown with gold accents. Also, when you buy it they should show you how to wrap it (if wrapped correctly it will not fall off).

I know a good seller on Ebay. I bought two absolutely beautiful saris from her off of there. They were 28 bucks each, and then for 10 bucks more she gets your measurements, and makes the undergarments to match the sari you ordered exactly. I didn't get the undergarments, but she ships FAST and is super nice.
