i have light blue converse, or i did until i went to a concert the other day and now they are extremely dirty and brown. is there any way i can clean them...just use shout or something?

i just use an old toothbrush and some toothpaste to scrub mine clean

I've washed Converse in the washer with my laundry and they came out fine. You should probably let them air dry, if only because they make a lot of noise in the dryer!

How new are they? My old American made Converse hold up to washer dryer, but the new one made in china don't!

Ah -- good point! This was years and years ago and I haven't owned a pair since then, so you might be right about the newer ones. Too bad!

I've always thrown mine in the wash too. But nothing gets the white toes cleaner than oxy-clean stain remover. My mother in-law bought it for me. And I have no idea where she found it, but its f-ing awesome!

just chuck them in the washing machine, works a treat.
