if you either want to get good bargains or get really nice clothes this is the option for you. There is a Jo-ann fabrics in my area closing down. (Maryland) I got Simplicity and three other name brands for 99 cents each there were also $1.99 vogue patterns. The store is pretty old but if it had good management and more customers it could have stayed. That was my main craft store, now I will have to go out of the state to get name brands I can trust. You can't always get what you want , but this is highly inconvenient. If anyone has suggestions for sewing and craft stores, esp. fabric. There's a JoAnn's on Race Track Rd in Bowie, which is about 40 mins. away. It's in a shopping center with an Outback Steakhouse, if that helps.
