To keep dark jeans from fading you're supposed to wash them inside-out, and alone, or with other jeans.

wash them inside out and in low temperature and dont use a lot of washing powder

i wash mine inside out in COLD water with balck clothes and other dark jeans on the SHORTEST wash cycle possible. even if you ahve to wash other clothes then not throw them in until just a few min left on the wash cycle

i heard soaking it first in part vinegar and part water before you wash it prevents it from fading.. i'm just not sure what the real deal is on it.. i haven't tried it myself..

Those are all great tips- wash them inside out and with water as cold as possible. But they will fade eventually, and when it happens, I just dye them again- it's easy and it's a lot cheaper than buying new jeans.
