i'm in the 8th grade andi have this idea for some *extremely* adrorible shoes. I wanna go 2 walmart and buy some dirt cheap sneakers ( i'm thinking white w/ a re-inforced toe and a bit of a platform) and cover the entire canvas part of the shoe w/ tiny rhinstones (ala ruby red slippers! *kinda*) anyways, I have a small prob. I dunno how to glue them on so they'll stick when i walk! n e 1 got n e ideas?

thanx a mil,

Hi Christina, I am about to start some rhinestone projects too, so this is what I have seen recommended, Aleene's Jewel-It glue - is easy to find at most craft stores, I've also seen Beacon's Gem-tac recommended. Check out the link below, some good info on attaching rhinestones.>http://www.rhinestonesu.com/attaching_rhinestones.htm
Your idea sounds Fab BTW, I may have to steal it, and get me some magic slippers too! Have fun being glittery!
cheers, Jo
