Hi guys- another "how do you make this" post. I want to make some of those shirts and dresses where one side crossses over the other and ties. I think ballerinas. Any suggestions/patterns?
Thanks,
Olive

Can you give an example of what you want? I can't quite picture it.

if you feel comfortable enough not using a pattern specifically ment for what you're doing, then you might want to cut two entire fronts of what you are making, sew them onto the back, and then play around with how you want them to v-down and meet. then you make the ties/buttons whatever. be sure to use a fitted pattern, though, with darts and such. i tried it without that several years ago and ended up riping a square out of the back to make a scarf.
