Has anybody ever made this pattern? >http://www.applelaine.com/KoiguCharlottesWebShawl.html

I'm trying to make it as a gift for my mom's (fast-approaching) birthday, but i keep getting stuck. the pattern is only graphed out to row 50, and i can't for the life of me figure out how to extrapolate the rest of it! it's a pretty complex lace pattern of 8 rows +1.

If you've made this shawl, or you can help me figure out the rest of the pattern, please let me know!! I'll be eternally grateful!!

i dunno. i can't even find the partial pattern. did you buy it from them? or are you trying to make it up to avoid buying? if you bought it, you should email them and ask for clarification.

yeah, what scubaslug said. i'm guessing you bought it, so they should help you with it.

is that knit or crochet? either way, it looks lovely. what colors are you going to use?

ps - nice to see you, bklynbabe!

well, i went to the yarn store i bought it at (the link was just so you cd see what it looks like) in the hopes that they would help me, and they did - sort of. it's a very busy store and the people are generally very friendly, but i guess i was kind of hoping they would write out the rest of the pattern for me - or at least some of it, so i could get the hang of it. no such luck. the woman just told me that the pattern repeats +2 on each side every 16 rows. yeah, like that helps. ; p

i'm using a variegated "bright" pastel yarn on size 8 needles (instead of 6). it's knit, and it is beautiful. that's really the only thing that's keeping me going - and the fact that if ithis fails, i'll have no idea what to get my mom for her bday!

oh, bklynbabe,
I don't know much about lace except for lurking on the knittedlace list (you might want to sign up and ask them, they're so sharp! www.knittedlace.com)

but if you want to get together and put our heads together I'm sure we could hack it out -
