Topic dyeing a synthetic wig Go to previous topic Go to next topic Go to higher level

is it possible? advisable? how would one go about doing this? RIT dye? hair dye? permanent marker?

i ordered a black wig with red streaks and i've decided that i don't like the red streaks. rather than doing the simple thing (sending it back) i want to customize it. :) any advice on this?

depending on what it's made out of. i tried to dye my barbie's hair. didn't take. most chemical fabrics *like polyseter an the likes* dont take dye well.
you could try permi marker?

sorry, you're pretty much out of luck. my friend tried dying a wig with hair dye, and that was really ineffective. i'm not sure what most wigs are made of, but it doesn't take dye.
