moonrat is getting a new tattoo soon and her board inspired me to post this.

i want to know about everybody's tatoo(s). how many, what of, where at, do ya luv 'em . . .

i have a hummingbird(that's my interpretation) on my upper right shoulder, it was flash off of the tatto parlor wall but i instantly fell in love with it.

the design itself looks a little tribalish or like stop motion so that it's wings are seen in different stages of flight.

it is about 2.5 inches in dameter, the main body is yellow with gold accents and i got my tattoist to spruce it up a little by shading dark pink around the body.

i LOVE tattoos, let's here about yours!!!!

Anyway, in the order i got them:
Small snake, black, on right leg, over the ankle.
The Little Prince (the main character from the book of the same name) in full awesome color on my left arm, in the traditional spot below the shoulder.
A black "tribal" knot on my left forearm.
A Burton-esque snake-like critter my good buddy Sam drew slithering down my left leg, over the ankle.
Next week: Evil eyes on my neck and back of neck!

don't worry about it- you can never have too much tattooed goodness!

I wanted a red aids ribbon on my back but some silly designer on trading spaces stole the idea. grr.

don't feel bad. there have probably been a dozen (at least!) threads on tattoos and what everybody has (not including the i-need-advice threads) on glitter. no big deal

I have a large tribal piece on my left side (armpit to waist). And a tiny spider on my heel.

I want a few others...but am deliberating them...

Right now I only have 2, but I love them. I have a fairy on my lower back right side, she looks a little like tinker bell but with a red dress and shoes and brown hair. I got that one at the Skin Kitchen. Thier web site is so cool. They tattooed some band, I can't think of the name of them, it's on the tip of my tounge. The cover of their CD-they were dressed as clowns...Oh hate it when I do that!

And the second one is on the back of my neck, of a halo and a set of wings. I developed a major headace after getting it. But I love them both.

I want to get butterfly on my back, Tinkerbell on my ankle, and would love to get an ankle braclet done with roses and Gypsy in the middle of it.

My husband has 37 or 38, it's kind of hard to count. The best one is the PAIN prison scene on his back, most of them are prison tats.
