Whenever i go to the thrift store I find lamps that are pretty shapes but horrid colors. Does anyone know if you can paint on shiny ceramics without having the paint peel off or look weird in a matter of weeks.

i know craft store sell porcelin (i can't spell) paints- specifically for painting on preglazed items. it's not terribly expensive and quiet fun. i found them at a michaels store, but i'm sure other craft stores would have similar things.

Ok this may sound wierd but, I use my nail polish to paint over my glazed and fired pieces. It gives it a whole lot of depth.
