I don't know about anyone else but I loved Living Room Magazine. There was only 1 issue but it was so fresh and cool. I wish there were other decorating websites/magazines that weren't so pushy and kinda snobby.

Actually there were two issues. I guess they didn't put out a new one this year. Family Circle doesn't realize what they're missing!

Yes, I loved Living Room magazine also. I emailed them not too long ago to ask if there would ever be another issue and received a generic automated response saying they did not know when the next issue would come out.

Rats! For now ReadyMade must fill the void.

I just got a flyer in the mail last week with an offer to get 3 years of Living Room for the price of one. Looks like they're trying to get back on their feet... Sounds optimistic!

actually, living room has come out again, although they are trying to claim that this new issue is the 'premiere issue'.. they've changed it and i really am not a fan. i just got it at barnes and noble on sunday.. anyway, it doesn't have many [maybe 2?] diy projects, and its full of expensive expensive expensive crap and 'celebrity' homes, like molly sims.. i was really bummed, because it used to be cool. oh well.

I just got a look at it. There was only one really ratty copy, so I didn't buy it. They're going to have to change the cover design. That font is going to be outdated by like next week. It looks like it's going to be quarterly. I didn't really look inside much. Though the other two issues have been great, my expectations are not that high since it is the better Homes and Gardens people. Sorry, but they tend to lean toward the lowest common denominator rather than really trying to be interesting. It's curious though. They've undergone a lot of changes in the past couple of years. Actually a lot of magazines have changed. Trying to be more like Martha Stwerat Living I guess. Less cluttered covers, more considered usage of typography...
