i have a really nice pair of trouser which i am wearing to the deather...bvut i cant find any patterns similar...or the same pants anywhere. | |

I had a coat once with a really yuckie lining in it. I ripped out the lining and used it as a pattern to make the new one. It worked really well. If you sew at all I would think you could do it easily. The only thing is, I don't think you can do it without taking apart the pair of pants that you love. I don't think you can just trace them cause of the butt and stuff. The pattern is most likely a weird shape. | |

You *can*, it's just a challenge. You have to make sure you get it all in there, as it would be if it were flat. Obviously it works better if you take them apart. | |

I don't have a good site for you but I do know that at my local community college that have a class on how to make patterns from existing clothing, you might look into something like that in your area | |
