There's always lots of questions about making canopies/bed curtains in dorm rooms, and as I am finally in a dorm of my own I thought I'd share my solution...I brought my own bed sheets, so I just took the ones res supplied and stapled them to the ceiling. Lots of staples, like six per corner/stress point, but it worked really well. I guess it won't work for anyone who has to deal with strict building policies regarding holes in the wall and such, but hey they're really tiny holes in any case.
