i came across vastu in the utne reader last night (you can probably find the article at http://www.utne.com, or in yoga journal). it's another organizational method that relies on compass points and their aligning qualities. it's pretty neat, from what i can tell, and since i know there's some interest in personal shrines/altars on glitter, i thought i'd throw this up here, because vastu can help you align a shrine in your living space, as well as tell you the best area for creativity, sleeping, etc.

has anyone else heard of vastu? practiced it? i'm moving this weekend, and i'm going to give it a shot . . .

oh, and it also works as a counterpart for balancing your ayurvedic type . . .
