I am looking for info about how to make a mini shrine - the kind of things that you put in a shrine, and what, specifically, you use them for.

hello. a few weeks back i was looking for the same info. i thought they were really cool. i use to make them more of the box kind of shrine altars years ago. the url u found is one of my favorite sites for the shrines. here are some more of my favs:

you totally inspired me Rubychew!! I am sitting here at work thinking of all kinds of ideas for mini- shrines! i was thinking of an 80's theme.. with Mr. T...Gary Coleman, the works!..although.. i need texture.. so I gotta figure out what else to put in there! ideas, anyone anyone? what matches 80's? that's ittybitty???

thanks for the inspiration! i'm off to start chewing on altoids. LOL

I found some great stuff at the party store in the party favor aisle. Also, those gumball machines have good things too! Then scraps of fabric and my fave - paint color cards from home depot for the background...Have fun!

Ohh craftychica! great idea bout the party store! i was at the dollar store today..looking for shrine..stuff..but no luck yet!

I was thinking about raiding the gumball machine already.. I have a whole bunch of those little "homies" from the gumball machines.. (im 1/2 Mexican)..and i was gonna shrine those too! they fit perfect in altoid tins!

oh and thanks for the tips on color cards! i got like a gazillion of those already!
