Does anyone know how I should go about making a bracelet from scrabble tiles? I'm not sure if I need to drill them or use metal hooks or glue or what!

Anything you guys can suggest would be great!

I cant help, but I was about to post about this same topic. Hopefully someone has some ideas!

if it's feasible, i would think drilling thru and stringing on elastic would be the simplest way.

my thought: buy thin pieces of flat metal, bend into a U with two long flat pieces hanging off each end. attach the long flat pieces to the blank side of the tile and thread elastic through these u's. you'd have to put two u's with two separate strands of elastic on each piece or they'd twirl around... or that could be cool.
as for drilling, you'd need some good clamps to keep from drilling yourself, unless you are superhumanly strong and still. it would be super cute, though - again, i think you need double strands.

You know those little screws that have a loop instead of a head? They usually come in picture hanging kits and can be reeeeeally tiny? I was going to use those, jumprings and a clasp for a more 'finished' look.

I have one that I got from Buyolympia.com. It looks as if the girl made it by drilling into the skinny side, on both ends, and then on the wide side - to intersect. like drilling two straight lines that intersect - is this making ANY sense? And then there is elastic cord that runs through the 2 rows,
But I think using the little screw-in eye hooks sounds easier, by far. Good luck!

oh i think it's way easier than that!

a lot of the jewlery findings stores/sites sell silver or gold bracelets that looks sort of like this:
o--O--O--O--O--O--O--o
with the little o's being clasps and the big O's being small disks that you can glue the tiles on. they have 6 spaces.

i am also thinking bout doing this, but i dunno what words to use!

You could use any word even if it was less than 6 six letters, just use blank tiles to fill in and decoupage a picture on it or something to that effect...
