I made the mistake by letting my kids paint outside with Plaid glaze. I discovered they painted the side walk and my porch which is concrete, now how do I get this paint up quick. I am renting and need a fast resolution. :(

turpentine or mineral spirits might be your only hope... (i'm not really sure what plaid glaze is, though).... if that or soap/water/elbow grease doesn't work, all i can think of is sandblasting.

A mixture of Murphy's Oil Soap and ammonia may do the trick. If not, try either regular rubbing alcohol or denatured alcohol (the removal properties are pretty much the same, so it won't matter which you use). Get out your stiff scrub brush and save up on elbow grease because you may need it. If none of these ideas work, and ONLY IF the cement isn't painted, you can try putting Easy-Off oven cleaner (not the fast-working stuff but the ol' stinky, caustic stuff) on it and then cleaning that off after it's had about an hour to sit and do its nasty job. Cover it and keep animals and kids away from it, if you do this. It's evil, vile, nasty stuff--but it takes the paint and/or varnish off of almost anything (whether you want it to or not).
