any ideas? I'm actually starting to need one, and it would be wunnaful to have one which looked good.

well, you could definitely make one from polymer clay(fimo), and do fun things like press seed beads into it, or transfer a photocopied imade onto it... I made one from that wireform mesh you can get at the craft stores. I made the basic shape and then reinforced it with fine wire. I strung a few small glass beads on for decoration!

i'm talking about both the kind u can put in your purse or pocket and the kind you can have on a desk.

As far as putting it in your purse, I'm not sure if Altoid tins might work (couldn't find a card to check the size with). You can do almost anything with those, decoration wise.

For your desk I found a fun one here. You might also be able to adapt it for chopsticks instead of popsicle sticks too.

That was my first thought too with an Altoids tin but the card I checked was *slightly* bigger. Not by much though so if you really wanted to, you could squish it in there.

cassette covers! flip them around and they sit on your desk nicely with the b/c's in the part where the tape would normally go. to use in your purse, break the prongs off and close it up!

**edited to add: decoupage to make it look nice, otherwise it has a nice funky look to it**

My co-worker made me a supercool card holder for my pocket (I use it for my MetroCard, but you could easily use it for business cards). She used black cross-stitch fabric and cut it out twice the size of a card, folded it over a piece of cardboard (for stability) and stitched the sides up, then made a "front" piece that was slightly shorter than the back (so you can slide the cards out easily) and did the same thing with the cardboard, then she just slip stitched the two pieces together on the bottom and sides! I love it! It helps that she cross-stitched my name in black on the front - very subtle and classy but fun!
