Here's what I found. This is pretty interesting and quite believable:
I thought about it a lot and I really think that Buffy is immortal. Now she's either coming back as she was, or as a demon. And here's my theory:
DEMON BUFFY:
It all started in "Prophecy Girl" when the Master told her: "You are the lamb". Later in restless, Giles talks about the "Blood of the lamb".
In the biblic context, it says that the lamb who was used for sacrifice is immortal and Buffy has sacrificed herself to save the world.
Buffy is not yet a demon until she'll be back in season 6. But there were signs that people around her already knew what she will become.
Quotes that back up the theory:
- Restless - Buffy's dream: when she's with Riley and Adam, she says: "But we are not demons." Adam replies: "Is that a fact?" - Restless - end: Tara says: "You think you know, what you are, what's to come...you haven't even begun."
Nope, Buffy wasn't a demon yet, but she was destined to be. And Dracula said the same quote in season 5.
-Buffy vs Dracula: Dracula kept talking about Buffy as she was the one he's been looking for for ages. We could all ask ourselves why? The guy should've met slayers before her, but he knew that there was something that was going to happen to her. "Your power is rooted in darkness." "I have yearned for a creature who's darkness rivals my own." "And you'll have eternity to discover yourself." And he calls her "killer".
- The Body: in Buffy's flashback, at the thanksgiving dinner, her mother tells her: "You are a demon child."
- Forever: The doc is my strongest argument. like Spike said, "the Doc knows everything there is to know about resurrections". He tells Dawn and Spike how to bring someone from the dead, revealing that the person may come back "a bit" different than how they were.
- Intervention: Buffy tells Giles this really weird quote: "I can beat up demons until the cows come home and then I can beat up the cows, but I'm not sure I like what it's doing to me." We all know from Angel what "cows" mean. So, Buffy will beat up the cows...
- The Weight of the World: When Spike and Xander go to see the Doc, he talks about Glory calling her "hellgod". Then after Spike figures out that the Doc is a bad ass, the Doc says: "You think only underworld bottom feeders worship the beast."
Ok, here I don't think he's talking about Glory. In Restless, the first slayer was called "warrior beast."
But the give away was: "Her day is coming boys. And when she returns, then you're gonna see something."
No way he was talking about Glory here, cause Glory's plan was to go back to her dimension to rule there. I think he was talking about Buffy returning as a demon.
- The Gift: The Doc wasn't in contact at anytime with Glory. When he came to perfom the ritual with the Key he said that Glory was supposed to do it, but she was running late. It never was about Glory. It was all about Buffy jumping to sacrifice herself. And the way the Doc "might have spoke" of Buffy, it looks like she will be something very powerful and that the Doc will be the one to bring her back. The "he knows everything about resurrection" theory.
When Buffy comes to stop the Doc, he says: "Well, this should be interesting..." then Buffy attacks him and throws him overboard.
Is the Doc dead??? I dont think so. Even if he is, now that Dawn and Spike know how to perform the resurrection spell, they'll be the ones to bring her back.
Ok, now how did she become a demon???
- Prophecy Girl: The Master drank her blood and blood is life.... - My best guess comes from Earshot: She got the aspect of the demon. Ok, so she could hear thoughts, but was it the only aspect she got from him. It's well known that some demons blood can change a person, like in "I will remember you." - Buffy had sex with Angel...a vampire. No human has ever done that before as far as we know. There had to be consequences to that. - Dracula: He said that "blood was life itself". Buffy drank Dracula's blood and he drank hers. Now he didn't drink enough, I agree. But there's something weird about the Master and Dracula. They are too much alike. They both used hypnosis to get to Buffy, and they both drank her blood. When Xander was possessed, he called Dracula "Master." Ok, so that's the demon theory.
Now Buffy could be immortal but she could come back just as she was.
Blood of the lamb. The innocent. In Restless, Willow talked about the book "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". "It has many themes", she said. I looked for the story and all, and I was amazed how Aslan reminded me of Buffy. Great protector and all, who sacrificed himself to save the others. And he didn't die. Here's what happened to him:
"They run to the stone table to find it broken in half and Aslan's body missing. Unsure of what has happened they ask if magic has taken place. A voice behind them affirms the idea and they turn to find Aslan, living and restored to his former beauty. They run to him and ask him how he was alive. Aslan tells them of the deeper magic from before the dawn of time. In this incantation, when a willing victim gives himself in traitor's stead, the table would break in half and death would begin to work backwards."
The Doc said in Forever that he does Magics. Aslan is the lion king in the story. When Buffy went to see the primitive in Intervention, she was guided by a lion. Anyway, this theory doesn't contradict the demon theory either.
There you go, just a little stuff to screw with your minds
(NOT MY THOUGHTS.... SOMEONE ELSE'S)
