I saw something on a spoiler blog about the Iowa caucus only being 3 months away. How can they go from before mid-terms to almost the end of Bartletts term? TV Guide does say that Barlett will finish up his term and there will be a 7th season. But will Bartlet be president in the 7th season since the caucus' are in this season??

I am not sure how far into the season this supposedly occurs but I would not fret too much if history is any guide. Midterms was the third episode of Season Two. Bartlet announced his reelection bid at the start of Season Three. The Iowa Caucuses and the New Hampshire primary are dealt with in later episodes that season. Bartlet is reelected and inaugurated several episodes into Season Four.

Television time is very flexible.
