ABC will air an hourlong tribute to late TV icon John Ritter on Tuesday (8-9 pm/ET). The special will feature interviews with the cast of Three's Company and 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter. Ritter died Thursday of an undiagnosed heart defect. He was 54.

That whole thing is sad! He was one of my favorite actors/comedians. His latest show is one of my favorites. Anyways I've heard that they are going to air the shows he recorded last month(Season premiere) is Tuesday and then they might have someone fill his place like remarrying or her staying as a widow or something. And for the replacement, if they do that, I've heard they have been looking at either Tony Danza or Paul Reiser, which wouldn't be bad choices none the less but it won't be the same. RIP John Ritter!!!

The latest update is that they will continue airing the show, but will kill off his character and make Katey Sagal's character into a single mom. It will be a totally different show. I'm glad they're airing the three episodes that he already filmed.

that is soo sad. i was looking through the message board and saw this titled John Ritter and i was so shocked to hear that he had died. All i can say is that my thoughts are with his family. xxx
