so i was just wondering what people thought about this latest storyline? my first reaction was.... eeewwwww! eeeewwww! eeewww! (just think of joey when he heard of monica inviting richard's son to thanksgiving dinner!) ;p

I'm happy to see that happened. Very romantic. Personally, I think Ross is very hysteric, but Joey is a good guy. When Phoebe was pregnant, he volunteered to be a vegetarian for her. When Rachel was scolded by the Janitor, it's him who went to ask the janitor to apologize. When Chandler and Ross got troubles in central perk, Joey helped them. When Chandler stole his girl friend, he forgave him and finally happy for them with all his heart. He is the one who help Monica to fire him in the restaurant to maker her a real chef. When he thought Phoebe got pregnant (actually it's Rachel), he went to buy a ring and ask Phoebe to marry him. When Rachel said she missed a date, he offered her a date based on a good intension. He is the best friend. I hope Joey and Rachel would be a successful couple. To Joey, friends are always his first priority. He can sacrifice his own benefit to help his friends. Ross always said he loves Rachel. Yes, only "SAID". I didn't see how he love her.

Alright ppl, so Joey is a very very sweet guy, agreed, but those who remember Ross in the pre-crazed era will also remember how very much in love with Rachel he was. I totally agree that Joey is the best but he needs someone that will appreciate him and works like him(ie Phoebe), Rachel on the other hand needs someone more mature and stable (Ie Ross) Besides, he is the father of her child ... it'd just be to weird and totally wrong for Joey and Rachel

Well, since the writers are continuing this storyline, I have to say that I am still not liking it. Joey has been really quite gallant through this all. And i think that he has really matured as well. But enough already. I think that it is just too weird to have this happen. No one saw this coming and i guess that's why they are continuing it.

I have to say I would like to see Joey and Rachel together. Kudos to the writers for keeping things interesting. Maybe it'll work out like it did for Monica and Chandler.

well i am in uk so havent seen this development yet but frankly i think it is terrible. there is no way those 2 should get it on!!!!!!!!!!!!what are the writers thinking. ross and rach sure, but joe- no way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so silly and unlikely and against all previous character developments and storylines! catch ye

Joey and Ross run into each other at the coffee shop, both alone on Valentine's Day. Ross asks Joey if he is having lady trouble, and is surprised when Joey says yes. Ross asks Joey to talk to him about it, and although Joey is reluctant, he finally agrees. Joey says he has feelings for this girl "at work," but she used to date another friend of his "at work" for a really long time, and so Joey is morose about the fact that nothing could ever happen between him and this girl. Ross asks if Joey's friend at work is a good guy. Joey says he's the best. Ross says that if he's a good guy, there's a good chance he'll understand, and Joey should just talk to him about it. Ross says that Joey can't not take this chance, because it isn't often that you have feelings like this. Just as Ross is walking out the door, Joey says to him: "It's Rachel." End of episode.

well i am still not liking this storyline. But the trick worked since everyone was talking about it. And now the cast is all coming back for another season at $1 million per episode per actor. Honestly, did anyone see this coming? I admit that i haven't watch much of the last 2 seasons, but there has never been anything legitimate interest from either of them through the years. it has also been just casual comments and friendship. I think that there has been more chemistry and interest with Joey and Pheobe. I would like to even see these two just have a fling and see how their friendship and the rest of the gang react to that idea. What do you all think about that? =)

Well, I am definitely happy to see the Rachel and Joey storyline disappear.... It will be interesting to see if Rachel and Ross end up together at the end of this season. Although that will be another weird plot since they are still interacting more as roommates and friends than anything more. But i guess we will just have to see.

Personally I think that there are more that six people in NYC and that, although to fall in love with someone you have to truly be friends with them first, it should be realised that life isnt always like that! I think its a case of six people 'growing' to love each other, a little too much! Its all slightly insestuos to me...

na thats rubbish. there is absolutely nothing wrong with falling in love with a very good friend. sometimes, something happens and u start to see them in a new light. that is the best way 2 start a relationship in my book and has a much greater chance of lasting as u already know if ud get along with one another. believe me it can happen! catch ye

I think that ross and rachel are made to be together and the idea that joey and rachel cud have sumthin is just not in the spirit of friends. There are new people bein introduced into it its not just the six. who likes Mike phoebes boyfriend?

I think it would be cool if Joey and Rach were together for a while, its differnt and they are kind of cute together I reckon, Ross and Rach is old news I think it would be dumb if they got back together, the story line is old and needs a change. At 1st I was like ewww Rach and Joey but its its grown on me, its a change but could be funny to watch. It will be good what ever happens, it always is, its one in a life time show. Its gonna be sad when its all over. Will be interesting to know what Joey's spin off show will be like and how it goes in the ratings.

I think its GREAT that rachel and ross ends up together in the end, because they have a child, and i they have ALWAYS loved each other.when i saw the episode with joey i thinked "YES! but i hope i dosn't do it to hurt ross- that would hurt rachel!" if you're understand! but at that time i didn't know that ross and rachel ever had dated, i buyed the dvd's not long time ago, and after that my only wish was that Rach and Ross ended op together! and a couple of days ago I bougth the last episode (we are only at the episode where phoebe gets married) and they endede up together! yes, I were so happy, and i don't think that joey and Rach would be so good together anyways....
